Astounding production values, from graphics to music to voice; level structure offers replayability; tons of content; says Castlevania on the box.
Says Castlevania on the box, but not on the disc; buttonmash heavy combat; basic story and characters; level structure is highly linear; for all its flash, never quite manages to pull you in.

Thrilling adventure with fast-paced action and stellar puzzles; gorgeous visuals and thoroughly great presentation; thick campaign with bonus trials and unlockables.
Fixed camera leads to unnatural perspectives and frustrating moments; some obtuse puzzles and scenarios lack clues or context.
