  • Tons of great content supported by amazing Wii MotionPlus controls
  • Learning curve might be a bit much for Wii Sports’s tennis champs
  • Grand Slam’s a great package, especially for those who’ve grown bored with Wii Sports’s comparatively casual take on tennis. The Wii MotionPlus-assisted play is nearly pitch-perfect, the modes brimming with features, and the visuals &mda...

  • A very realistic tennis sim when played with MotionPlus. Nice array of off-court options typical of EA.
  • Cartoony, bobblehead graphics. Virtually impossible to play without MotionPlus.

  • Abstract:  Last week I had the privilege of hitting the courts with Virtua Tennis 09, also on the Wii and released at the same time as EA’s Grand Slam Tennis. Although Virtua Tennis scored highly, it didn’t feel entirely accessible – favouring tennis fans greatly...

  • Fun, addictive and simple, Andy Murray and John McEnroe
  • Controls are not as intuitive as they should be, may be over simplified.
