  • Innovative motionsensitive controller. Family fun for everyone!
  • Alienates the hardcore fraternity. Only standarddef visuals.
  • If it's good enough for Jamie Redknapp, then it's good enough for us. Just don't mention the lack of hardcore games....

  • The Wii’s innovative motion sensitive control system has redefined video games, or at least carved a new niche within the hobby by making avid gamers out of people who wouldn’t know a joystick from an egg whisk. Affordable and simple, this is...
  • But there’s a downside to Nintendo’s pursuit of this new demographic - it has sidelined the hardcore gamers that were its previous bread 'n' butter audience. Whilst the Wii is well served when it comes to short, simple mini games and m...
  • While there’s little to tempt old-school enthusiasts seeking eye-popping visuals and in-depth single player games, the Wii’s trailblazing motion controls make it a top tech toy for young and old alike.Best offers for the Nintendo WiiMarks and...

  • Great playability, included Wii Sports is compelling, Unique controllers, Easy-to-use menu system and media functions
  • Graphics cant compete with the Xbox 360 and PS3, Games still expensive, Opera browser not included as standard, Needs Flash upgrade, Media functions could be better, Poor battery life for controllers

  • Small, cute, interactive, cheap, innovative
  • Graphics, lack of home entertainment features
  • Although the graphics arent up to what gamers will be expecting for a next generation console, the gameplay and its interactivity will have you jumping around the living room with joy

  • It looks super sexy!, Wiimote and Nunchuck are a match made in heaven, Some superb games, Even the user interface is fun, Retro games, Top marks for creativity
  • Not all Wii channels are functional, Graphics are not the greatest, Were knackered
  • Wii doesn’t have cutting edge visuals by any means, although we were surprised at the artistic creativity in the likes of Rayman Raving Rabbidds and The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess where the games are colourful and attractive to play. Compare...

  • Is Nintendos Wii the revolution its codename was intended to imply? Well, Nintendos own DS has already targeted casual and older gamers, so theres nothing new there. The Wii brings some social networking technology to the table, but its presentatio...

  • The most fun gaming experience ever. Motion-sensitivity better than PS3’s tilt joypad. Great price. Sega classics available to download online.
  • Basic, standard-def graphics. No multiplayer online gaming. Not all games suit the format. No DVD playback.
  • Pure fun in a box. Get some friends round and swing your Wiimote until the early hours ...

  • Revolutionary controller design offers motion-sensitive gameplay options; built-in Wi-Fi delivers free online services and (eventually) gameplay; Virtual Console has major nostalgia appeal; compatible with all GameCube games and controllers; built-in SD s...
  • Controller eats batteries and takes some time to get used to; lacks the advanced hi-def graphics and surround sound found on the Xbox 360 and the PS3; requires a wired receiver unit placed near the TV to interface with wireless controllers; cant play CDs...
  • It lacks the graphical prowess and rich media features of the Xbox 360 and the PS3, but the Nintendo Wiis combination of motion-sensitive controllers and emphasis on gameplay make the ultra-affordable console compelling ...
