  • excellent screen, stylish design, fast SoC, very good GPS qualities, fast Wi-Fi, Gigabit LTE, decent call quality, solid sensor configuration, USB 3.1 with DP, HDMI, and OTG, good battery life, quick-charge and wireless charging, water and dust-resistant
  • though not much better than in the predecessor, no dual-SIM, fingerprint scanner hard to find via touch, SoC throttling during permanent load, warranty does not cover damage due to liquids
  • The first hands-on with the new Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus leaves us wanting more. Samsung has apparently improved the camera quality of this year's models considerably compared with the S7 (Edge). The casing's build, and the new Infinity panel's contrast, bri...

  • Abstract:  Both versions of the phone support similar "check box" features but we wanted to address a few important features. The Samsung Galaxy S8 is the second phone to have iris unlocking, and it works much better than we expected. The first phone to support iris...

  • Abstract:  Last year, Samsung came agonizingly close to making the perfect smartphone. We called the Galaxy S7 “one of the most complete mobile packages we'd ever seen.” The Galaxy Note 7 was even better (and, at least temporarily, our favorite phone of 2016).But, a...

  • I've seen plenty of people say they don't like the Galaxy S8. Why is that? Is it just because they're haters of everything Samsung? I mean, even if you're a Samsung hater, it's hard to dislike the Galaxy S8, at least in my view. It's one of the more beaut...

  • Exquisite design, amazing curved display, blazing fast performance, one of the best rear cameras ever made,
  • Bixby not fully implemented as yet, not cheap, Bixby button not reconfigurable,
  • Offering innovative design, impressive performance and one of the most powerful cameras yet mounted on a smartphone, the S8 shows that Samsung is still at the top of their game. If cash is no object, this is one of the best phones that you can currently...

  • The best mobile display ever, Dualedge screen for both sizes, Efficient and gorgeous design, IP68 water and dust resistant, Fantastic new software buttons, Great battery life, Ultra fast charging and wireless charging, Every software feature you can think
  • Inconsistent camera image quality in daylight (particularly zoom detail)
  • At this point, is there a situation where the Samsung Galaxy S8 or S8+ shouldn't be your next smartphone? Folks who take more photos during the day, or might need a smaller phone might consider the LG G6 or Google Pixel. Those wanting the absolute latest...

  • Excellent display, Great performance, Camera is top notch, Slim and lightweight
  • Glossy design is fragile and a fingerprint magnet, Rear mounted fingerprint sensor placement is awkward, Bixby is a bore
  • The Samsung Galaxy S8 triumphs over its current rivals in every way – yes, that even includes the iPhone 7 / iPhone 7 Plus. It is not just one of the best Android smartphones, but one of the best overall no matter the platform...

  • Abstract:  With the exploding Note 7 battery fiasco, Samsung inadvertently did something thats increasingly difficult these days: It made smartphones interesting for a flickering moment. Super interesting in fact. Besides the intriguing mournful saga of the Note 7...

  • A slimbezel design finally brings a more modern design to the Galaxy line, Onscreen buttons allow for smaller bezels, bigger screens, and a customizable (and correctable) button order, Samsung's alwayson hardpress home button is an awesome and innovativ
  • The gimmicks. The iris scanner, curved screen, and heart rate sensor all seem designed to give talking points to your local Verizon salesperson, rather than provide a good user experience for customers, The glass back is fragile and a fingerprint magnet

  • Fancy exterior design, Slightly better camera, More convincing software design, A bit cheaper without compromising much, Versatile wideangle camera lens
  • No doubt about it – these two are the best of the best Android devices on the shelves at the moment. Both Samsung and LG have put their hearts in the respective flagships and the results of that are visible – there's hardly an aspect in which either phone...
