  • Super Slow-mo mode is great (when it works), One of the best Android cameras out there, Build quality is superb
  • Looks the same as the S8/S8+, Glossy body isn't for everyone, AR Emoji are lacklustre
  • "While it's difficult to find a significant fault with the S9, it clearly isn't as exciting as other Android devices on the market, or even the S7 or S8 were when they were first released."...

  • Abstract:  For the next iteration of its Galaxy flagship smartphone, Samsung didn't choose to reinvent the wheel. Instead, its focusing on improving the aspects of the S8 that made it so great. This time on All Hands on Tech we took a first look of the Samsung Galaxy...

  • Abstract:  “The camera reimagined.” That's how Samsung is describing what it has done with the camera in the new Galaxy S9 and S9+ by adding new features and tweaking the interface. The company's marketing for the device appears to focus on letting users “express the...

  • One of the nicest looking smartphones out there, Variable aperture is great, AR Emoji could be great
  • A lot like the S8 and S8+, Iterative in every sense of the word, Reflective mirror design is back (this will only be a con for some)

  • Abstract:  Review by Greig StraffordThere have always been two camps, and once there was three. You're either iOS, Android, or if you were a sucker for pain you could even have had Windows for your mobile OS.The two Kings have always been Samsung and Apple, having t...

  • Abstract:  Samsung's Galaxy S9+ is a worthy smartphone to sit at the top of the company's range and comes with a welcome performance boost and new features for enterprise users.Picking up the phone, it becomes clear that Samsung hasn't messed too much with the succe...

  • Great camera for both stills and video, Infinity Display still great
  • Battery life, Bixby still kinda mediocre, Your mileage may vary on AR emojis
  • With the S9 and S9+, Samsung swing their engineering talent, brand power and their overall focus back towards the camera side of the equation and, while the results of this pivot aren't by any means poor, the whole thing does come off as a little predicta...

  • Abstract:  It might be fair to consider this article something of a spoiler or preview of what's coming in the full review. The Galaxy S9+ houses quite a sizeable battery cell; a 3,500mAh unit with fast wired charging via Quick Charge 2.0 on USB Type-C and fast wirel...

  • The Galaxy S9 Plus one-ups the excellent Galaxy S9 with a second rear camera for taking portrait photos
  • Battery life fell short of last year's model in our early tests, and the Galaxy S9 Plus suffers from the same underbaked extras as the smaller Galaxy S9. The dual-aperture camera tends to overexpose low-light photos in auto mode
  • Samsung's Galaxy S9 Plus is the more robust Galaxy S9, and the one for power users to get...
