  • A good solution for streaming media to mobile devices, Good wireless performance, Accessible on local network via pass-through
  • Can be a little cumbersome to set up, Power button feels cheap, Pass-through setting is not remembered by the app
  • Seagate's Wireless Plus offers a good way to stream media content to multiple mobile devices, whether you're at home or on the road. It's a little cumbersome to set up, but it does its intended job very well. And you can use it as a regular external hard...

  • The Seagate Wireless Plus wirelessly adds 1TB of storage space to up to eight mobile devices. It can relay Wi-Fi Internet access and works well as a fast portable drive or as a robust mobile media server
  • The Wireless Plus could use a faster Wi-Fi standard and should include a car charger. Its Seagate Media app doesn't natively support all popular digital video formats
  • If you have a digital library that's larger than the capacity of your tablet and want to bring it all with you on the go, the Wireless Plus is arguably the best choice on the market....

  • We are pleasantly surprised with this drive's abilities, and even though its configuration process is a little involved, it's a reliable product that does the job it's supposed to do. It was convenient to stream files to Android phones — especially large...

  • Compact, Surprisingly fast, Great battery life, Great coverage, Decent mobile app
  • Still relatively pricey, Can't charge another device
  • If money is no object, then this is probably the best wireless autonomous storage device on the market. It is elegant, has tons of storage and a battery life that is superior to almost all of its competitors. I would have wanted a proper on/off button as...

  • compact 1TB drive that connects via wifi or USB
  • expensive, wifi feature requires rechargeable battery
  • The Wireless Plus is quite expensive, at £150, but the ability to use it as both a USB drive with your Mac and as a wifi drive with your iOS devices means that it's a lot more versatile than an ordinary hard drive. It'll be worth the price if you have a l...

  • Stylish looks, Very easy to use, DLNAcompliant, Can use web browser for PCs
  • Could do with a few more options

  • Abstract:  It has been quite a while since I last had the opportunity to check out the performance of a device from Seagate. That over-long interval has now been brought to an end with the arrival of the company’s Wireless Plus product. This offering promises to ...

  • Connects to WI-Fi Internet and can acts as an intermediary Wi-Fi access point
  • Must connect vis USB to computer to delete files; No battery level indicator on drive
  • The Wireless Plus provides a ton of storage and easy accessibility for all my devices. It has found a place in my backpack next to my iPad—at least until the 1TB iPad eventually comes along
