  • sturdy and beautiful; comes with a touchscreen, digitizer and pen; powerful; huge battery life; decent keyboard and trackpad; good selection of ports; great connectivity options
  • the form factor (slider); the sharp edges and pointy corners
  • The Vaio Duo 13 is a convertible ultrabook built on top Intel's Haswell hardware, with a nice screen and a digitizer/pen combo. On top of that, it can easily go for 6-8 hours on a single charge, with everyday use. Long story short, it's a great machine, b...

  • Good screen, Great processing power, Battery life (9 hours of video playback), Stylus included, Backlit keyboard
  • Not for serious gaming, Design isn't ideal for laptop mode, Too few ports, Sometimes dodgy WiFi
  • The Sony Vaio Duo 13 is a laptop/tablet hybrid with a somewhat cramped laptop experience. It's a shame, considering how good the screen, processing power and battery life are. We would call this more of a tablet with a backup keyboard than a true hybrid....

  • HD screen, sensitive stylus, fine performance, very good battery life.
  • Not cheap, cramped keypad
  • The Sony Duo 13 offers an interesting take on the hybrid issue but it's by no means a game-changer. It's on the bulky side when used as a tablet, and while the flip-up mechanism is smooth enough, and the balance is fine, the keyboard feels a little cram...

  • Good performance, Great battery life, Digitiser support
  • Small touchpad, No screen adjustment in laptop mode, Narrow viewing angles
  • The Sony Vaio Duo 13 is a compelling choice for anyone looking to join the hybrid Ultrabook movement. Its improved slider design and terrific battery life make this 13in hybrid a much better choice than its predecessor, the Duo 11, and you get a larger s...
