  • Abstract:  Motherboards based on AMD's B550 chipset have exploded onto the scene. Despite B550 being a cost-down version of X570 for the budget market, motherboard manufacturers have gone a little overboard in offering over 50 different models to co nsumers, ranging...

  • Can handle high core-count Ryzen 3000 series processors, Gen4 PCIe slot and M.2 slot, USB 3.2 gen 2 ports, M.2 heatsinks on both M.2 slots, WiFi 6 and 2.5G LAN, Easy to navigate BIOS
  • Doesn't seem like a lot of RGB for an ROG board, Ai Suite III seems dated
  • So B550 is here and it does give us quite a lot. When X570 launched it was great, but the motherboards were more expensive than what we've seen from AMD before. This meant that building a Ryzen 3000 system was very costly. Now with B550 we have less expen...

  • Capable 14-Phase Power Delivery, 2.5 GbE LAN and Wi-Fi 6 AX200, Premium Audio,
  • Still seems expensive for B550
  • Asus' ROG Strix B550-F Gaming Wi-Fi delivers premium features including SupremeFX Audio, Intel Wi-Fi 6 AX200, solid power delivery and more. It's a good option around the $200 mark, though there are similarly specced boards that cost less...

  • Abstract:  Finally AMD's mid-range B550 chipset is here and with it with have a whole slew of very affordable B550 motherboards launching today. The B550 chipset is going to be very attractive to many people, one for the price and two for Gen 4 speeds not only for y...

  • Abstract:  For the longest time manufacturers produced products which were nearly visually identical, and we were often left with the dichotomy between going for the biggest box with the most stuff, or going for the more measured choice. In the ASUS world that was...

  • Excellent aesthetic, very ROG, Abundance of USB 3.2 at your disposal, 802.11ax WiFi, 2.5G LAN port, Strong onboard audio solution
  • Steps on the toes of X570 boards with pricing, No front USB 3.2
  • The B550 chipset, much like many of AMD's chipsets before it, has proven its worth in our tests but how have we found ROG's implementation of it within the market?First off, we're big into the appearance of the B550-F Gaming. The new distorted ROG eye log...
