  • Abstract:  Bereits über das HP Envy 14 Spectre.

  • Gorgeous, backlit keyboard, Raisedglass wrist rest actually helps with typing comfort, 1600x900 screen is a huge benefit, Equipped with reasonable ports and solid state drive, Supports both 2.4GHz and 5GHz wireless N
  • Pricey; we'd expect dedicated graphics in this tier, Glass makes it heavier than competing solutions, Click pad's lack of physical demarcation for the buttons can be frustrating; where is tap to right click?
  • HP's Envy Spectre 14 is gorgeous. It's also quite pricey, but in that you get one of the best keyboards, a good touch pad, great battery life and, well, a Windows machine that looks like a MacBook Pro. If you've got the cash, then this one comes recomm...

  • Screen, Feels good to use, Good sound
  • Intermittent touchpad problem, Uninspiring performance
  • It's expensive for what it is, but the HP Envy 14 Spectre has plenty of appeal thanks to an excellent screen and good input peripherals. It's a very comfortable notebook to use and its performance is good, but not spectacular. It's one of the first laptop...

  • The HP Envy 14 Spectre has a unique glass-covered design and packs a lot of features into a slim 14-inch ultrabook body, plus its multitouch response is great for a Windows laptop
  • It's expensive, especially considering the standard components, and feels heavier than it should. The glass wrist rest can be awkward

  • Tough Gorilla Glass chassis, Comfortable, backlit keyboard, Beats audio controls, Crisp, detailed screen, Great connectivity
  • Very expensive, Heavier and thicker than rivals, Lousy touchpad, Average CPU, Lid attracts dust and fingerprints
  • We see the HP Envy 14 Spectre as being the 'cool kid' of the Ultrabook class, with its Beats audio branding, high resolution 14-inch screen and Gorilla Glass casing. It's a highly usable laptop, with only the integrated click buttons on the touchpad givin...

  • For a company that was prematurely judged to be standing upon its last leg a short time ago, the Spectre is a resounding success. In instead of marching to the beat of the same drummer as other Ultrabook manufacturers, HP has taken a huge risk by intro...

  • Abstract:  You know how, when you plug in a USB cable, it’s always the wrong way up first time? The HP Envy 14 Spectre is a little like a USB stick – every time I picked it up and went to open it, I got it the wrong way round, and tried to open it hinge-first. Wh...
