I like the SmartBand Talk, I think it's a decent bridge between fitness tracker and smartwatch however, there are a few oversights on Sony's part. For instance, the way you change the bands isn't very elegant and I wish that it was a little thinner. Still...

I have enjoyed wearing the Sony SmartBand Talk throughout the review period. I find that it offers 2 main purposes for me: to track my activity, and to notify me of my smartphone events. I like how light and comfortable it wears on my wrist. I don't fancy...

The Sony SmartBand Talk's e-ink display makes it easy to see your activity, the time and incoming notifications. The display uses very little power so battery life is pretty good and its ability to take calls comes in handy when you're too busy (or too la
It doesn't have GPS, a heart-rate monitor or the most glamorous design. Sony's Lifelog fitness app keeps track of too much pointless information
The SmartBand Talk's screen, waterproof design and ability to show your incoming notifications make it a useful piece of tech to wear, even if you're not fussed about keeping track of your activity during the day....
Slim and light, Decent battery life, Easy to set up and use, Waterproof
No Apple support, Pricey, Better dedicated fitness trackers
If you're an Android user after a simple-to-use wearable device, I'd definitely recommend checking out the Sony SmartBand Talk. Set-up is easy and it's blissfully intuitive to use, yet packs in some essential features such as media control and notificatio...
